Easy Disney Princess Card to Make

Girls usually love Disney princesses so when making a personalized card for a girl, you might want to consider putting something Disney princess on the card - if she likes Disney princesses, of course. Below is a very easy, simple card to make with Disney princesses on it.

First, take a cardstock and cut it to the size that will fit an envelope that you have. You might have an envelope lying around already that you want to use then it is important that your card will fit into it. If you do not have a blank envelope then don't worry it is easy to make one.

Pick a background out of any scrap paper that you have lying around. Just hold it onto the card and see if you like it. Then find a picture of a your recipient's favorite Disney princess such as Cinderella, Belle, Ariel, or Jasmine, and then cut it out so that you can put it onto your card. The thicker the picture, the more 3-d  your card will look. I found this picture on an old card I have. I also put a picture of a flower on the background but you do not have to. Then use mounting tape to mount the cut out picture of the Disney princess or Disney princesses onto your card. If your card still looks white and unfinished, draw something on it to fill up the white space. I used colored sharpie to draw dots and lines.

Making Simple Handmade Card

There are personalized cards that you can make easily at home instead of buying some from Hallmark or other companies. Below is a way of making a special, personalized card. You just need to have a piece of cardstock paper. You can choose your own color. In our example below, we picked ivory. Fold that piece of paper so that it is like a card. If the paper is too big, you might need to trim it.

Then just cut another piece of paper to glue on one side of the card. You can pick any color that you like or any pattern that you like. Many people pick scrapbook paper which come in a variety of colors and patterns.  Then glue that piece of paper onto the front of the card.

Making the gift

Cut a square piece of paper so that you can glue to the middle of the card as your present. Any color would do. We like to use bright colored paper for this. Then cut two pieces of ribbon. Glue them across the present side to side and top to bottom as shown in the picture. Then glue the present to the middle of the card. Then tie some thick thread together and then glue it to the top of the present.

You now have a personalized card with a cute present in the middle. Then you can add anything you would like to the card to finish it. If you do not have anything to add to the edges then don't worry,  you already have a great looking, easy to make personalized card. Here, we added just purple squares to the corners of the card.
